We’re thrilled to have another successful MINExpo INTERNATIONAL® under our belts. The 2016 show, which took place at the Las Vegas Convention Center in September, featured more than 840,000 square feet of the mining industry’s latest equipment, technology and services, and hosted more than 44,000 attendees from 130 different countries. Since 2002, Frost Miller has provided marketing communication services for the National Mining Association’s quadrennial show.

We begin the process of promoting each show two to three years in advance by creating the show’s overall theme and exhibitor promotion materials. As the show gets closer, we develop and execute an attendee marketing strategy, and ultimately provide show-time support services including photography direction, social media management, and web development. For 2016, our attendee marketing mix included traditional approaches such as print ads, direct mail and email marketing, as well as some newer tactics including a robust social media and content marketing program, and social and mobile advertising.

It has been very rewarding to contribute to the success of MINExpo® over the years, and we’re looking forward to another big success in 2020!
